Our Team| Hooves and Tails

OUR TEAM

Hooves and Tails is managed by our founder Isabel as an all volunteer nonprofit organisation. We have a dedicated small team made up of core volunteers who help out on a regular basis.

We care for the animals on top of our day jobs and other personal commitments. There are no paid employees in our team and we ensure that every single penny we raise in donations goes directly to supporting our animals.

We are supported by an excellent team of farm animal vets who are helping us to keep our animals healthy.

Isabel Dowsett FOUNDER Founder of Hooves and Tails and Chief Vegan Shepherdess	Nimah Gilbert VOLUNTEER Our little helper in the field. She loves spending time with the sheep and often do clearing out.	Julia Williams VOLUNTEER Helps with feeding duties and sheep belly rubber.
Anna Maria Karla VOLUNTEER Petting, feeding and mucking out duties.	Nermin Sigirtmac VOLUNTEER Helps out with admin and acts as an emergency cover.	Ben Wilkerson VOLUNTEER Ben is one of the key volunteers who helps with rounding up with his sheep dog Hallie and handyman.
Hallie the sheep dog VOLUNTEER DOG Don’t be fooled by sheeps relaxed and slow movement. They are very quick on their feet and not easy to catch or round them up. Hence we have a sheep dog Hallie helping us do the rounding up. Hallie sometimes gets chased by the sheep, but more often Hallie wins the chase battle and puts the stubborn sheep in their pen.	Chris Dowsett FOUNDER Second in Charge and Handler	Hammonds Vets Everything we know about how to care for the goats and sheep we learnt from our brilliant team of vets at Hammond. They understand our flock is not just any flock and are very special to us and provide appropriate care with care and kindness.
The Stanley's A local farming family supplies Hooves and Tails hay and does the shearing every year.
