Help Street Cats and Dogs adoption process is designed to find a good match between cat/dog and adopter. Our goal is to provide a loving, stable happy home that will last a lifetime.

If you like to adopt a pet from us, take a look at our adoptable animals and complete our online form to be considered as a potenial adopter. We ask that adopters have specific animal in mind. Use our Contact page to get in touch if you would like more information on the animal you are interested in.

We are a very small team working hard to get back to everyone! We thank you so much for your patience and understanding while you wait.

Below is an outline of our adoption process.

Complete our online adoption application form.

Home Check

We will review submitted applications carefully and if your application is taken to the next stage, we will video call you to perform our home check.

Upon application approval you will receive a confirmation of intent to adopt and a non refundable deposit will be collected.

Once your pet travel is booked, you will receive your adoption contract and the remainder of the adoption fee and international travel cost will be collected.

Your pet arrives.

We will check in one to two weeks later to make sure your new pet is settling in well and to offer our advice and support.

Our adoption fee only covers their core vaccines, test for diseases, spay/neuter microchip and some of their boarding. We rely on donations for any medical treatment and ongoing care until they are adopted.

It costs more to adopt a pet from abroad because of international travel costs. These animals don't have the luxury of already being in the UK, Europe, Canada or the USA and there is a cost involved with getting them to their adoptive country.

We hope that you would consider saving a cat or dog who has no chance of a home they all so deserve regardless of the cost.

Our adoption fees and international travel costs are  dependent on your country location. Please get in touch via our Contact page for more info.
